Choose your sport
Pick from Pickleball, Tennis, Golf, Soccer — or search for any other sport you want to learn.
Find a coach near you
Browse verified local coaches. See their experience, ratings, and hourly rate. No surprises.
Book a session
Pick a date, time, and location that works for you. Your card is only charged once the coach accepts.
Train and rate
Meet your coach at the spot. After the session, rate your experience and optionally leave a tip.
For coaches
Create your coach profile
Add your sport, experience level, availability, and hourly rate. Set up takes less than 5 minutes.
Connect Stripe
Link your bank account via Stripe to receive payments directly. WELLO never holds your earnings.
Accept session requests
Students near you send requests. You accept or decline — you're always in control of your schedule.
Get paid
After confirming the session is done, payment is released to your account. You keep 90%.
Frequently asked questions
How much does WELLO charge?
WELLO charges a 10% platform fee on each session — paid by the coach, not the student. Students pay exactly the coach's listed rate.
What if the coach cancels?
If a coach declines or cancels after you've paid, you receive a full automatic refund within 5–10 business days.
What if I need to cancel?
You can cancel a session before payment at no cost. After payment, contact support@welloapp.org and we'll review your refund request.
Are coaches verified?
Every coach is manually reviewed by the WELLO team before appearing in search results. Coaches with low ratings are flagged for review.
What sports are available?
Currently: Pickleball, Tennis, Golf, and Soccer. Use the "Other sports" search to register interest in any other sport — we'll notify you when a coach is available nearby.
Where is WELLO available?
WELLO is launching in Houston, TX. We're expanding to other cities soon. Drop your email in the search page to get notified.
